Constech is organized by Vietnam International Advertising & Exhibition Co., a larger local exhibition company, with the support of Vietnam Ministry of Construction, Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam Ministry of Transportation and Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology. Constech is a larger local exhibition of construction machinery and mining machinery. Last exhibition area of 5000 square meters, the exhibition attracted 110 exhibitors from 22 countries, 60% of which are international exhibitors, from China, Germany, Spain, Japan, Korea, Thailand and so on.
Market background: As one of the fast developing economies in Asia, Vietnam has witnessed steady GDP growth in recent years. Civil construction: $5 billion to build 430,000 apartments to house 4.2 million people by 2020. Industrial construction: Industrial construction is expected to show positive growth due to improved logistics and business environment brought about by free trade zones. Infrastructure: Vietnam plans to build a public-private partnership. The first goal is to build 1,800km of highway between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Vinacomin sold 8.6 million tons of coal in the first quarter of 2017, up 3 percent from the previous year, earning $572 million from coal sales, of which more than $189.2 million went to the state Treasury. Mining, however, has seen slower GDP growth than industrial and construction.
